On Mac OS X 10.9.3

  1. Set US keyboard.
  2. Start Quicksilver.
  3. Switch to Dvorak keyboard.
  4. See that Quicksilver search is broken

Restarting Quicksilver fixes the issue.

I can't reproduce. What version of Quicksilver are you using?
Make sure you are typing the right characters after switching to Dvorak! ;-)

QS version 1.1.3

I am using the keyboard icon in status bar to change keyboards quickly.

Are you sure you are listening to kTISNotifySelectedKeyboardInputSourceChanged notification?

OK, maybe this was fixed in v1.2.0 (which is currently in beta). For the time being you can use the ‘switch keyboard’ setting (in the command prefs) in the QS prefs to make QS switch to a specific keyboard when launched

See #1147 for more info. If you have any experience with dealing with input methods, any help would be appreciated. Keyboard inputs are hard

@pjrobertson IMO, this is also directly related to #1482 :)
