Usage of qudt:OrdinalScale #1032
Comments
Nice timing. We are just in the process of revisiting our neglected data type definitions in QUDT. Please stay tuned. |
Have you looked at the instances in the graph attached below? One of the
instances in this graph is: http://qudt.org/schema/qudt/SCALE-TYPE_ORDINAL
Even there there is no assistance on how to use scales in engineering
work. @steveraysteveray is correct that the datatypes schema is currently
under review but there have never really been examples of how to use them.
While at Siemens we developed some machine models that made use of the
datatypes schema but those examples never made it back into QUDT as they
were engineering test cases that went beyond the scope of QUDT.

I don't really know which 'attached graph' you were referring to, @jhodgesatmb - however, the answer to this question might also be relevant to #1047 |

Is there any guidance on implementing an qudt:OrdinalScale unit with respect to maximum rank? The qudt:OrdinalScale-order property is listed but has no documentation.
