Feels funny to be on the other side of the process :-) No delays, promised! |
@spapastamkou it does feel funny, indeed, but you'll see how nice it feels as well :) |
@jenniferisasi you now have all the github usernames in the initial comment |
Hi @spapastamkou, @lucchesia and @mcraed2004! Just checking in on how you are all doing with this? Let us know if you need help with anything and/or more time. Merci! |
Hi @jenniferisasi, thanks for your message! Sorry for getting you wondering, we were about to update you guys on the progress of our proposed tutorial. We'll indeed need more time. We are running a bit late, but we're almost there. We currently looking for a date to reconvene the three of us and discuss what we did. You can expect to receive it on the week of 18-22 September. Is that alright? Thanks a lot! Muito obrigada! |
Hi @lucchesia! Obrigada pela sua resposta rápida. That new deadline is totally fine with us; we understand writing a lesson is not an easy process, much less when three versions are being cooked at the same time. Looking forward to learning more! |
Hi @jenniferisasi, just a quick heads up here: we've by now submitted the lesson files by email to the Managing Editors. We hope you'll like what you read. Have a nice week! |
First round of reviews was sent to authors and they agreed to submit a new version by December 15th |
Lesson to be received and published in FR, ES and PT simultaneously
The Programming historian has received a proposal by Anita Lucchesi @lucchesia, Douglas McRae @mcraed2004 and @spapastamkou for a lesson titled:
Learning Outcomes :
If the editors don't receive the draft or communication by the agreed date (around September 18-22, 2023), they will contact the authors of the lesson. If we don't hear back from the authors, the editors will close the ticket. However, it could be opened again upon negotiating a new date.
For now, the main contacts for these lessons are @marie-flesch (FR), @jenniferisasi (ES) and @DanielAlvesLABDH (PT).
