How to detect if there are pending migrations?

There is a Status method but there doesn't appear to be a way to communicate to the caller that some migrations have not yet been applied. In other words it looks like it is simply visual info for the user.

In rails, for instance, you will receive warnings about pending migrations in the dev environment just as a reminder to locally apply them. I am wondering if goose can do something similar out-of-the-box.

Seems reasonable. To clarify, would these warnings be displayed in an existing goose command, or would it be a net new command?

I was imagining checking this from within the application itself using goose's api.

switch state := goose.CurrentStatus(db, "migrations"); state {
case "pending":
...
}

That being said, I don't have any strong opinion about reuse of an existing command or not.
