Visible changes

  • Audio offset now works #660.
  • Game mode selection in toolbar is no longer available when in certain screens #659.
  • Audio speed adjust mods are now implemented (Double Time, Half Time and Nightcore) #661.

Known issues

  • There may be slight frame drops when switching between some game screens. This will be polished over time. Optimisation is not yet our main goal.

  • Sliderbars sound effects have been tamed a bit #655.
  • Fixed chat timestamps being in 12-hour time #655.
  • API updates to allow statistics to be shown at the results screen #657.
  • Taiko drumroll conversion fixes and tick design changes #656.
  • Fix for lag when watching taiko in autoplay #656.
  • Glow of health bar changes when objects are successfully hit #656.

  • This build will completely wipe your beatmap database. Please re-import beatmaps as necessary!
  • Sending messages in chat now work (restricted to #lazer channel) #652.
  • Fixes leaderboard scores not displaying #650.
  • Fix crashes related to song progress display #650.
  • Fix taiko barlines sometimes being in the wrong place #646.
  • Decrease memory consumption and improve smoothness of transitions on retrying a map #644.
  • More accurate conversion between modes #642.
  • Rulesets (previously PlayModes) are now completely modular #640.

  • The beatmap details page is now more details at the song select screen #574.
  • Sliderbars sound and behave much better #622.
  • Can now search using source/tags at song select #621.
  • Chat no longer crashes when trying to send a message while not logged in #620.
  • Game focus is now always correct on startup (previously osu! may have keyboard focus without window focus) #625.
  • Fixes crashes when restarting to update. This will only be fixed from the next update, of course! #618

Changes in this release

  • Cursor/parallax positions are now correct without requiring an initial move of the mouse (startup, gameplay) (#544)
  • Fix regression in visual appearance of osu! judgements (#543).
  • osu! cookie is now in front of the mod select screen (#546).
  • Pressing the back button with mod select open will first close mod select before exiting song select (#546).
