My homepage is http://www.mit.edu/~archi137/, and when I add \homepage{www.mit.edu/~archi137/}, it shows www.mit.edu/ archi137/ in the PDF, without the ~. However, the hyperlink works correctly.

How to show the ~ in the PDF, just in case someone copy-pastes the link?

I found a solution, use \textasciitilde. Both the hyperlink and the printed webpage work correctly.

\homepage{www.mit.edu/\textasciitilde archi137/}
