As part of the lab hackaton me and @kkoetter are working on a schematic and documentation of sashimi. The initial idea was to reproduce something similar to what already exist for Stytra, but we first wanted to see if @vilim had any suggestion or idea of the way it should be done.
Any input is highly appreciated!

It has already been started (see the docs folder), but there is a lot more to write. It's also important to have graphical representations of the experiment timeline (in terms of processes and events), and also the whole hardware part, which @diegoasua started.
We are going for a more modern solution than what was there is stytra, using Jupyter Book components, starting with MyST markdown

For the hardware there is a model I was working in at https://design.3doptix.com/. It has to be finished either there or I can export to .PLY and this can be finished in a 3d render engine like the open-source Blender (I am guessing this is to what you were referring with the hardware part @vilim). This is very secondary. Code docstring the most urgent, then graphical representations of multiprocessing, events and so on for which the logger of SashimiEvents that @vilim wrote will come very handy
