In SharePoint classic we used to have a List or Document Web Part that can be filtered by parameters in Query String (FilterField and FilterValue). Well, in Modern SharePoint it works only in views, but it seems to be not available in a pages that have this Web Part.
I have been wondering if it is possible to do our own Source Web Part that receives parameters from Query string and filter it in the target which will be a OOB SharePoint Web Part. So, this new custom source webpart would appear in this dropdown:
I also noticed when a user select an item in the source Web Part it does a request to /_api/web/GetListUsingPath(DecodedUrl=@a1)/RenderListDataAsStream
I started to research these kind of functionalities in order to build my own webpart, but I am not really sure if this will be a good idea. Do you have any suggestion how to create a custom SPFX WebPart tha can be connected with an OOB List/Library webpart?
Thanks!
Note from #2384: After read how to create a good issue, I realized my question is not an issue on SPFX/PnP, because it has no author and it is just a question. I am sorry if this is not correct either. Thanks :)

Hi,
In SharePoint classic we used to have a List or Document Web Part that can be filtered by parameters in Query String (FilterField and FilterValue). Well, in Modern SharePoint it works only in views, but it seems to be not available in a pages that have this Web Part.
Also, I have been looking into this example from Microsoft to connect two different Web Parts: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/connect-web-parts-in-sharepoint-b457668c-d843-4b1b-8977-a6f9228a1dec. That example can be used to filter two different Lists or Libraries Web Parts. They show a Source and a Target webpart. In the source, you can select an item and show the result in the Target.
I have been wondering if it is possible to do our own Source Web Part that receives parameters from Query string and filter it in the target which will be a OOB SharePoint Web Part. So, this new custom source webpart would appear in this dropdown:
