This summer I became aware of the work of Suzuki Ken on Nameraka Society and its Enemies, which is only in Japanese, but which is closely related to our work. It deserves mention in Part 3 of the book, especially 3-2 and 3-3 as it is a clear precedent and cultural resonance for our book in the Japanese context. It also serves as a way to connect the work to Deming.
