Here are some ideas for potential usability improvements for the PWA UI. some of these can happen for 4.3, some might happen later, or not at all. Would love to get some thoughts from others as well.

These aren't in any order, but I"m using a numbered list to make it easier to refer back to specific items.

  1. Provide a way to sort the listings of hosts, hostgroups, configs, testspecs. alphabetical, newest (and reverse), etc
  2. Make it possible to do batch operations such as deletions, permissions changes
  3. Show an indicator in listings to let us know if it's in use. For instance, testspecs that are used in configs might have a certain icon or flag indicating this
  4. Provide lists of, and links between, related items. Like a host should list all the hostgroups/configs it's in and allow you to click through to edit the related item
  5. Fix issue where New Hostgroup (etc) icon covers up the list of hostgroups
  6. A separate section for creating reusable archive configs?
