"Note that multithreaded model evaluation with OpenMP support was turned off in Ngspice for these benchmarks."
Is this because OpenMP does not work yet with OpenVAF, or because it would favor NGSPICE so much that
comparison to the other simulators would not be possible?
The last time I looked into NGSPICE, OpenMP only worked for very specific devices, not for just any (X)SPICE device or subcircuit. Has the NGSPICE code to help standard devices been build into the 'N' device template to also help OpenVAF, or is that an NGSPICE question?
I guess OpenMP can be coded into the shared object of OpenVAF, and then it would benefit of OpenMP regardless of simulator?
