When will SRS plan to support LLHLS that has been defined in HLS specification for years? |

I currently don't have a specific plan as LL-HLS is not stable yet, and only a few players support it. The use of LL-HLS can result in a high query per second (QPS) due to frequent requests for partial segments. Moreover, it requires HTTP2 for transport, which is more complex compared to HTTP1, and unfortunately, SRS has not implemented it. I will continue to monitor the progress of LL-HLS and any updates related to it. If you have any ideas or updates regarding LL-HLS, feel free to discuss them here. |

As I know, HTTP2 is not required for llhls. |

LLHLS, as I recall, involves segment files, which need to be converted from TS to fMP4, correct? SRS has long supported fMP4, but in the context of HLS, TS has been continuously used instead of fMP4. Therefore, perhaps we could consider initially supporting fMP4 for standard HLS, and then look into supporting LLHLS in the future.

https://github.com/AirenSoft/OvenMediaEngine has support for LLHLS, why do we have to wait so long for SRS to be able to have HLS with low latency? |
