This file provides detailed information on the Didact Gothic font.
This information should be distributed along with the Didact Gothic font and
any derivative works.
Basic Font Information
----------------------
Didact Gothic is a sans-serif font designed to present each letter in the
form most often used in elementary classrooms. This makes it very suitable
for literacy efforts.

2016-10-14 v.2.000 Design improvements across GF Latin Plus, and GF Cyrillic Plus (Cyreal)
2013-01-25 Major stroke-width improvements in shoulders. Improved esszet,
eth, thorn, slashed o. Added space between stroke and dot of
question and exclamation marks for legibility at low point-sizes.
Narrowed Cyrillic lowercase ef.
2011-08-25 Added a few glyphs to convince Fontaine that I support Pan-
African Latin. Re-hinted using TTFAutohint.
2011-04-29 Completely re-spaced and re-kerned entire font. Thanks, Google!
2010-12-22 Added Greek range; kerned r + round letters; improved Icelandic
2010-11-23 Improved Cyrillic breve; added extended Cyrillic

Information for Contributors

This font is licensed under the Open Font License (OFL). There is no Reserved
Name clause for the Didact Gothic font, enabling the free conversion between
font formats.
You can read more about the OFL here:

If you'd like to make changes to the original font, you are free to contact
the author of the original font (for contact information, please see the
"Contributors" section below). Glyph changes should be in a FontForge .sfd
file (please make sure your version of FontForge is reasonably up-to-date).
Please send *only* the changed glyphs, not the entire font range. The author
reserves the right to reject or modify any contributions. If your contribution
is accepted, your name will appear in the Contributors section (unless you
specify otherwise).
