Searchionary

This extension takes a word from user input and gives the definition of the word. This extension is simple and straightforward that the beginning extension users can get familiar with what extensions do and how they work.

How to use Searchionary

  • Download the source code or clone using SSH or HTTPS
  • Go to firefox and search for "about:debugging"
  • Go to the "This Firefox" tab and click "load temporary add-on"
  • Open the Searchionary folder and select "manifest.json" file

You will then have our Searchionary extension to the right of the search bar!
