EPIC has created a new tutorial on Git/GitHub to facilitate collaboration on code development and to promote contributions from UFS community developers and users. The tutorial covers the basics of Git/GitHub terms, concepts, and use. It touches on a variety of topics, including basic Git commands, and demonstrates how to:

• Create local and remote repositories, forks, and branches
• Explore remote repositories
• Add and commit changes, and
• Push changes to a remote repository
