DataTable: facet type filter input render issue on dataTable update

Correct follow the instructions in primefaces/primefaces#9569 This is not a bug is an improvement of the implementation.

I don;t see why not just in Eclipse do "File -> Import - > As Maven Project" it should import into Eclipse just fine

@AndrewChurchill1970 i fixed your demo. You were doing it wrong for custom filters.

Unzip and run mvn clean jetty:run and go to http://localhost:8080/

your filter needs <p:inputText value="#{testView.car}" onblur="PF('dataTableIdWidget').filter()" />

you misunderstood the problem. in some cases we don't use the facet filter as a filter for already loaded data in datatable, we use itr as search criteria for fetching new data from DB.
1.) we display some data in init( ) method (PostConstruct)
2.) user can modify search criteria after that in filter fields
3.) click on pb search causes a new search on DB and should update datatable
4.) after that all entered values in filter fields got lost

=> user doesn't see anymore what he was searching for

This worked well with above implementation in PF 11. see above code.

init should show bmw and mazda in datatable
after that enter a value in filter field
button should call action loadCars() and diaplay skoda and dacia (this works fine)
BUT after updating datatable you don't see filter values anymore in inputtext

@Rapster i am not sure this is allowed anymore. He is trying to submit the filters from outside the datatable? I feel like this came up before?
