Getting started:

just fork the tea/gui

All files related to internationalization are in the following directories or files:

/svelte/src/libs/translations/*
/svelte/src/components/select-lang/*

Adding A New Language

1. in the gui repository duplicate the /modules/desktop/src/libs/translations/languages/en.json to the new language's id or code: ie de.json for Deutsch. Refer to this list of ISO codes to determine the 2-character language code
2. translate the values in the new json file
3. commit and make a pull-request against the gui repository

Updating Translations

1. update the related translation json file in the /svelte/src/libs/translations/languages/*
2. commit and make a pull-request against the gui repository

We recommend tagging a contributor familiar with the language and a knowledgeable reviewer for any language updates or additions. Their expertise will ensure accurate translations and maintain quality standards. Thank you for your collaboration!
