Having problems with the Home Assistant integration and accessing playback devices.

Hello,

I am having an issue adding Home Assistant MediaPlayers. I am using the MusicAssistant add-on for Home Assistant and am also running the NGINX proxy on HomeAssistant. All of this is started using the Hyper-V VM from HomeAssistant.

From the provider I can see all of my speakers:

However it does not let me select any of them to play to them. At a minimum, my understanding is that the new Home Assistant Preview Voice Edition is supposed to be supported.

Possibly related is a ton of disconnects in the logs

Any assistance in debugging would be appreciative. Full disclosure, I've opened up a separate bug report Ticket 3440 where I've alluded to some of these issues, but wanted to not muddy that ticket too much with this separate issue.

Per the docs

Running behind VPNs, across subnets or VLANs, behind firewalls, local SSL, using reverse proxies or inside containers is not supported (it might work but we can’t troubleshoot for you as MA is run by a small team who don't have the resources to help with non-MA issues).

I apologize, I mostly just installed the add-on and it felt so close that I thought it was just going to work.

Would you recommend installing Music Assistant outside of my Home Assistant VM and trying that way?

I don’t know what your setup is. I run MA as an add on to HA in Proxmox and that works fine. Why yours isn’t working is beyond the scope of what I can help with. Maybe someone else will read this and can help further

Understood, if you have time or anyone else sees is there any way within the Home Assistant add-ons to see or edit the music assistant variables? https://github.com/music-assistant/server/blob/49aa75c7d8a00f9471336f01b4883cdc9d916ff2/music_assistant/providers/hass/__init__.py#L203? Specifically I want to see if it's trying to validate my ssl certificate.
