Good evening, you can try installing auto-cpufreq. I'm runninng LMDE. It's working from what I can see been running on my laptop for about 2 weeks. It helps.

Why Linux mint 21.3 version is having live session user as linux and $HOME as /home/linux though it is mentioned as mint in Linux Mint official web page ?

Try to connect your device to a wired connection (from ethernet, or share through your phone) and open the driver manager application to install the Broadcom drivers for your wifi then reboot your system.

Ok thanks for the information. Just to add one more thing in case it's useful here. The hotspot works without security.
