Prerequisites
What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe..
I have a lot of elements, and all of those elements have their own settings. Once a container is full of elements, and settings are made, there is no fast way of locating the specific elements within the elements panel... or knowing which settings were changed, without navigating back through the Elements Panel to find it.
Describe the solution you'd like.
If a container is selected in the structure panel, simply show a color dot on the element panel, directly on the category and elements that are in use within it.
Same with the Settings Panel. If I need to make a design adjustment just for mobile view, I'd like to see a color change or other indication that value now differs from the desktop view.
Describe alternatives you've considered.
Auto-extend applicable element panel categories whenever a chosen container has them within. This at least narrows things down. This would be a nice optional feature with the color dots.
Additional context
This has been requested in various ways over the years, and there were various indicators added to the Structure Panel, but even those just say something is active, not where to find the setting or element.
