Hi everoyne.

I'd like to enable Sponsors, but I want to make sure my private infos (like name, address or so) aren't exposed. Can someone confirm me that?

The link doesn't answers the question. I don't want to hide who I would sponsor (while I'm not sponsoring anything), just hiding my name, address, iban etc...

Since I have not enabled sponsorships for my account, I cannot speak from experience, but I can direct you to the GitHub documentation covering the topic.

Hi @GeekCornerGH. When you say, "enable sponsors", do you mean you want to receive money from sponsors or give money as a sponsor?

In either case, your personal information isn't exposed in the GitHub user interface. However, to give money as a sponsor, you will have to provide personal information to make payments. That information also isn't shared in the GitHub UI, but it is used for verification and payments.

I indeed meant "receive money from other people". I'm alright to give my personal data to GitHub - it's Microsoft after all - but not to the end users
