Why am I seeing the starring activity of people I don’t follow on my homepage? Based on my observation, the repositories they starred are ones that I am following. I hope this is a bug rather than an intended feature, as I don’t like this recommendation mechanism.

Yeah, I'm seeing users, unknown to me, starring projects, unknown to me (however, they seem to be projects owned by users I follow). That seems like a stretch in recommendations!
Further more, if I press the 3 dots in the corner, I'm told 'You're seeing this because you follow [username]' which is definitely not true.

In the above example, I follow kivy, I haven't starred 'buildozer' and I have no idea who the redacted user is.
