I see news about some people starring some repo on my feed totally unrelated to me. #143582

Select Topic AreaBug BodyI don't follow none of the users ahoarau or Duvancho321, this list continues as I scroll. Why do I see them? I was seeing only people I follow or some recommendations. There is no any note about why I see these people. I wanted to post this here as it may be a bug. |

I had the same problem until I unfollowed the organization that owns the repository that was starred. In your case it looks like the culprit org is google-deepmind. I hope GitHub reverts whatever change caused this because if you follow a lot of orgs or really big ones, your feed will just be stars by people you don't know. |

Hi Community! Thank you all for your posts and comments on the recent Feed bug. The bug was related to starred repositories, which is why we see some people saying the fix is to uncheck "Include events from starred repositories". The Feed team has pushed an update to address the issue; please leave us feedback in this separate post so we can monitor its effectiveness. |
