Hmmm so I guess it won't be a full year. Seems good. |

Their $360 gives them 7.2 months of $50/month benefits. After that they should only enjoy $15/month benefits. But I believe GitHub will now list them as a $50/month sponsor for a whole year? Or will it list them as $50/month sponsors according to the prorated amount they paid, meaning 7.2 months, then list them as a $15/month sponsor?
I'm asking because if the former, then people can game the system to pay a fraction of the price to get higher tier benefits, and as a maintainer it seems quite hard to automatically check this. I can fetch sponsors activity, but it doesn't look like the API lets me fetch the prorated payments (for this I have to export data manually from the dashboard).
