The #appThemeBase label does not work (the theme is not displayed in the list as it is with #appTheme). #1097
-
DescriptionWhen adding the label #appThemeBase=test to a theme intended to overlay the TriliumNext theme, the custom theme does not appear in the theme selection list under the "Appearance" section in the application settings. This behavior differs from the #appTheme label, which successfully adds a theme to the list. Steps to reproduce: Add the label #appThemeBase=<custom_value> to a note representing a theme. Expected behavior: The theme labeled with #appThemeBase should appear in the list of themes, allowing it to be selected and used as an overlay for the TriliumNext theme. TriliumNext Version0.91.5 What operating system are you using?Windows, but im using the webapp What is your setup?Local (no sync) Operating System VersionDebian 12 bookworm Error logsNo error logs |

@GeistFighter , the
appThemeBase
is in addition to theappTheme
. The value of#appThemeBase
can only benext
if you wish to base it off of the Next theme, otherwise the legacy theme is overridden instead.Here's an excerpt from my work-in-progress documentation:
