This may just be the lack of the codemirror mode like the error says, or maybe something worse.

The SyntaxError was from a previous attempt with actual invalid syntax, it's worth noting that this did end up working as expected.

Ha, yeah, I just realized it does work. But still throws the error

Is the only codemirror mode configured here Python? I'm assuming I'll get the same error with R:

It's the ipython mode I think?
