Hello,
TB just updated automatically Nostalgy to versino 4.3.20 (today 27th january). I would have like to know what is new, but no sign of a new version here on the github. Anybody knows anything about this ?

Cheers

Oliver

https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/nostalgy_ng/versions/?page=1#version-4.3.20 says:

bring back undo (ctrl-Z) for move. If the imap server is not UIDPLUS, the messages comes back to the origin but also stays in the destination of the move (bug in TB).
Undo for copy does not work (bug in TB)

and some internal changes: xhtml in the options window is partly replaced by html so that we can eventually shift that window into the webextension side and have a nicer table for the rules.

and just to add : move (S), move and goto (B) and goto (G), and go back (Q) are all working, also prediction and shift-S etc works as excepted with 4.3.20 , but C for copy is effectively not working, also not shift-C
with TB 128.6.0

I'm still on Thunderbird 115.18.0 using the deb version from Ubuntu 22.04.1. Version 4.3.20 does not allow moving emails anymore. I've re-installed version 4.3.16 and this allows me to copy mails again. To prevent this problem from happening I've also disabled automatic updates in Thunderbird for this add-on.

@opto I have not yet looked at the code, so maybe this already has been added as was just not working as intended, but perhaps a version check could be added to only update the addon if it corresponds with a Thunderbird version defined in the code? This could prevent broken features between the different versions.

@BjornW sorry, I expected the underlying code to be identical at that part, but it is not. see #279

I got copy back for 128, that will follow tomorrow.
