  1. Open Opticks
  2. View Message Log and see:
    'PlugInError
    C:/Program Files/Opticks/[version]/PlugIns/IdlStart.dll

WORKAROUND: In Opticks Tools, Options, Scripting, IDL Interpreter, point to IDL install in the IDL Installation Location field. Select the correct IDL Version for that field as well.
