TrguiNG displays the Wayland icon (W) instead of app icon in the KDE taskbar.

It seems to be the issue described here:

Here is a quick fix from the video in the thread above.

  1. Start TrguiNG
  2. Right click titlebar
  3. Select "More Actions" > "Configure Special Application Settings..."
  4. Click the button "+ Add Property"
  5. Select "Desktop file name" and set it to "org.openscopeproject.TrguiNG"
  6. Restart TrguiNG

This is a known issue for flatpak apps. Tauri did not have an explicit way to change the reported app id so I couldn't make it match both non-flatpak and flatpak variants of the app. I'll look into it when migration to tauri v2 is done.
