As mentioned by a producer: Product origin and primary ingredients: thank you for coming back to us concerning the exploitation by your algos of the GS1 field of origin 'provenancestatement', which is currently controlling this information in the GDSN

Why

  • Ingredient parsing is not enough
  • The industry is moving towards this solution

It's a free text field, we can map it and display it, and then try to parse it.
