Suggested solution

This contribution aims to provide a Portuguese (pt-br) version of the introductory course on contributing to Open Source projects. The goal is to make it easier for Portuguese-speaking users to access a practical and detailed tutorial that will guide them step-by-step through the process of contributing to open-source projects.

Benefits of this Translation:

  • Inclusion: Expand the reach of the project by making it accessible to developers and technology enthusiasts who prefer to consume content in Portuguese;
  • Ease of Access: Provide a more intuitive learning experience for Portuguese speakers, allowing them to better understand the concepts and practices related to Open Source development;
  • Promotion of Open Source Culture: Facilitate the integration of new Brazilian and Lusophone contributors into the open-source universe, contributing to the growth and diversification of the community.

Scope of the Translation:

  • Translation of all chapters of the introductory course;
  • Adaptation of technical terms to Portuguese, maintaining clarity and accuracy of information;
  • Inclusion of notes and cultural references, when necessary, for better contextualization of the content.

Next Steps:

  • Finalize the translation of all chapters of the introductory course;
  • Review the translation to ensure terminological consistency and reading fluency;
  • Update the project's main documentation by adding the link to the Portuguese translation.

By providing this translation, I hope to improve my skills as a contributor and encourage other developers to do the same.

@WybsonSantana here's more information on our approach to community translations. Let me know if you have any questions. Before I remove the needs triage label, I want to make sure the process is clear: https://github.com/open-sauced/intro/blob/main/contributing/i18n-guidelines.md#2-community-translations
