Meetup's "message group via email" function doesn't work, so tackling #390 instead. Some folks will fall through the cracks, but that's okay (esp since there's nothing we can do)

@lianilychee  we did get the member email export though right? We could use that to seed a mail list to let people know perhaps?

Also what's the issue with the message group via email thing? maybe I can troubleshoot it?

@jcklpe heya - yes, I did get the member email export except it only had "active members" (my phrase). I've knitted together that list + other different sources. You can see it in #390 - the spreadsheet - "main" tab

Thank you for offering to troubleshoot! If I'm not able to resolve this (below) I'll lyk:

  • There is kind of another problem. I just checked the group, and another fellow stepped up as organizer. This means there's now a divergence betw the EB and Meetup. I've emailed and Slacked the person requesting him to please step down. This issue is reflected in rectify EB <> Meetup divergence #392
