To increase discoverability on GitHub I think it would be good to migrate the repository to a standalone repository so that it will pop up in GitHub searches. I was just searching for it on GitHub so I could point someone to it, but it actually won't pop up in a search because it is a fork. I just knew where to look for a link it it from the SeaweedFS issue.

You have to contact GitHub support to have them migrate the repo: https://help.github.com/en/articles/why-are-my-contributions-not-showing-up-on-my-profile#commit-was-made-in-a-fork.

I may have some time in January - and considering how far behind I am seaweedfs wise, https://github.com/seaweedfs/docker-plugin_seaweedfs seems like a sane place :)
