Describe the bug
When trying to add my Samsung S90D with SmartThings support I run into a problem when attempting to get my TV's SmartThings Device ID. I'm able to provide the token that I've generated with all the right permissions following the guide but on the next screen I'm informed that it's failed to find the Device ID. The guide points me to SmartThings' website where I get the ID from, input in the filed and hit next. After this I can see the prompt on my TV, which I accept. Inmediately after the dialogue box on HA refreshes and I get the same could not find Device ID message. I can try as many times as I want, always the same outcome.

I had the same problem

After some troubleshooting I noticed that my TV was shown as OFFLINE in the smartthings dashboard (https://my.smartthings.com/advanced/devices) even when powered on.
So I followed the SmartThings Android app suggested procedure to re-connect the TV to the platform (DeviceID changed).

Then I was finally able to add the TV to HomeAssistant through this integration, and it's working !
