Describe the bug
To start I don't know if it s bug, my fault, or just what it is. The problem is when my Nvidia Shield turns the Frame TV off it doesn’t go into art mode at baseline. If you use the Samsung remote of course it does. To keep the 1-remote simple life - I set an automation in Home assistant using this add-on that triggers when the TV is turned off (in this case via CEC by the shield) the automation “turns the frame off”, which means it uses the “power button” that the Samsung remote would normally use. I changed the setting in the add-on to act like the frame per instructions, but the TV turns on again then off, sometimes into art mode, sometimes just stays on. I don’t understand why.

I made a button card and it activates art mode with entity as the media_player.[mytv]
Tap action: Toggle
This will go to Art Mode but is manual.

Or if they could tell me how to use it properly, I tried calling a service samsungtv_smart.set_art_mode but that didn’t work because maybe the TV is already off?

Environment details:

  • TV model: 2024
