Hi, I'm having a pretty annoying issue (I made this account just to submit it) but when I add a character to a main plot that I created, Manuskript just immediately closes/quits. This is very reproducible (at least on my system), I am running the latest version of Linux Mint (22).

Steps: Open Manuskript > Load Project > Click on "Plots" > Click on my Plot under Main > Click the little plus (+) that is attached to the "Character(s)" text box > It brings up the little selection hover > I pick any of my characters to add > Instant Crash

Some more information I can add is the only thing or change to the program itself I did recently is change the theme to qt5ct-style in order to activate a dark mode.

I attached the log file as well.

This should be fixed by one of the PRs (#1315) that is already merged upstream. So the next release should fix this.

Is there any way for me to get this release early? Maybe via a beta version? Thanks!

You can try running the latest changes upstream from source code (see here). It's really not difficult on Linux since Python is preinstalled on most distributions. So as long as you have the required dependencies installed, you just need to clone/checkout the repository and run bin/manuskript via Python.
