Firmware flashing breakout

Optional:

External flash memory

Some current contenders include:

$10 NodeMCU DevKit (Battery not included)
$10 Adafruit HUZZAH (Battery not included)
$15 Sparkfun ESP8266 Thing (Battery not included)
