Hi,
In my squadron gv5js.com we are starting to use your fpt tool, and we wanted to try mdc too. Problem is that I don't know how exactly proceed to setup with this tool. Could you help me on this?

thanks for these great tools

Oh, I did not know FPT and MDC is used outside of our squadron already. So far, I have not announced it anywhere. Documentation in English is still pending, but basically you need to install it like any user mod; unzip it into "Saved Games/" and add the line to the export.lua which is given in the README.txt. Then you need to update the file Config/mdc.lua with a text editor and set the URL to your personal MDC download link. I suppose you are hosting FPT on heroku as well. Just Replace the host part there and the Callsign "Jabba" at the end with your personal one. As soon as this is done, you will get the next upcoming Mission Data Card of your flight automatically installed into your Kneeboard whenever you join an online server.

Additionally, you can use the mod to automatically program the waypoints specified in your Mission Data Card. F/A-18C, F-16C, and A-10C are supported at the moment. Just start up your engine as usual and as soon as the NAV system of the aircraft is ready to allow programming the flight plan/waypoints, hit the following button for the respective aircraft:

A-10C: The dot (not the comma, but the dot) key on the CDU
F/A-18C: HUD Video BIT
F-16C: UFC FLIR WX

Thanks. I found your tools looking at Github and after seeing it was ruby on rails I deployed in Herokku. Is it ok for you if we use this tool? I decided to use it since it is open in the public, and I thought it could be great to organize our ATO. But we can stop using it right now if you want.

It was great when I deployed the app in Herokku and it worked. I'm a completely newbie to these technologies. I did a fork, you can find it. I added some modifications to the settings.yml in order to modify the pilots and to put the Tomcat.

Any case, thanks a lot.

I don't mind if other squadrons are using it. After all, I did publish it on Github so that anyone can use and contribute to it. I already noticed the fork and your changes to it. It would be great if you can create Pull Requests for the Tomcat loadout stuff so that I can incorporate it in the original version.
