Describe the bug
The wired network icon disappears when connected to a VPN setup through the network manager.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Create a VPN connection in Network Manager
Connect to a wired network
Connect to the VPN connection
See error

Expected behavior
A lock symbol to appear over the wired network icon similar to when connected to a VPN on a wireless network
