I've been considering abandoning markdown for writing documentation because its treesitter parser chokes out on files with more than 400-500 lines. When several code blocks are introduced in a markdown file, significant input latency is introduced to the point that writing documents becomes a drudging experience. I don't want to tolerate high input latency in my terminal anymore.
I'd like to ask two questions before I consider adopting .norg for my documents
Can .norg documents and its treesitter parser handle large volumes of text (usually more than 1000 lines and sometimes extending upto 10k or even 20k lines) without introducing input latency in the terminal? This factor is extremely important to me now. I noticed that there's a WIP PR open that's relevant to this.
How do I export my existing markdown documentation to .norg?
Can neorg export .norg documents to markdown or commonmark? I guess it does.
