I am having a hard time understanding where the images are saved. I use NuxtImg with out-of-the-box settings, IPX.
With optimization I mean "calculate to different sizes" and "applying options" like quality or sharpness.

makes me worry very much. I am building a lot of websites with a lot of images (for example art galleries), they sometimes exceed an image total size of 5gb. Running all optimizations always again atgenerate
will slow it down dramatically. Is there any sort of cache which I can utilize to store already optimized images for later and through different build and generate processes? Does this even make sense, or do I have a misconception somewhere?
