Korean - specifically South Korean - cuisine, commonly known as
K-food, has gained in popularity in recent years as part of the Korean
Wave. And we too, have fallen "victims" to the various delicacies of
The Land of Morning Calm! Here we will present three of the most
delicious Korean dishes we have enjoyed so far, comprised in three
categories:

<h3 class="head-font light centered">Bibimbap</h3>

Bibimbap (Korean: 비빔밥) is a Korean rice dish with bibim meaning
"mixing" and bap "cooked rice". It is served as a bowl of warm white
rice topped with sautéed or blanched seasoned vegetables and chili
pepper paste. Egg and sliced meat are common additions, stirred
together thoroughly just before eating. In 2017, the dish was listed
at no. 40 on the World's 50 most delicious foods from CNN readers'
poll.

Kimchi (Korean: 김치), is a traditional Korean side dish consisting
of salted and fermented vegetables, most commonly using napa cabbage
or Korean radish. imchi is a staple food in Korean cuisine and is
eaten as a side dish with almost every Korean meal.

<h3 class="head-font light centered">Doenjang-jjigae</h3>

Doenjang-jjigae (Korean: 된장찌개) is a traditional Korean stew made
from the primary ingredient of doenjang (soybean paste), and
additional optional ingredients like vegetables, seafood, and meat.
It is one of the most iconic and popular traditional dishes in
Korean cuisine, and is often eaten regularly regardless of occasion
or time of day. It is claimed as a national dish.
