This thread relates to conducting a playback experiment as part of the Glider Rodeo.

Considerations

Playback speaker using synthesized sounds (requires vessel in area)
Pingers or other noise-maker
Active Sonobuoy
Mounted to vessel, drifting buoy/recorder, existing mooring, etc.
Multiple sound sources for localization
If mounted to vessel, may want to coordinate with deployment/retrieval?
