I have built and installed source engine for hl2, but i have no idea how to use it. i'm planning on using it for gmod. so do i drag'n drop the new engine over the old one? Or is there a tutorial or guide i don't know about?
OS:
Debian ARM64
4gb RAM
-was able to run gmod in wine(so it is possible!)

Source Engine does not have stable ABI (and even api) between engine versions, so you need get GMod source code somewhere and port to this engine to do this... Or just reimplement entire gmod native part from scratch and reuse existing scripts as is
Games that are not in engine's sdk need to be ported manually too. This engine replaced game code part by public source 2013 sdk code iirc, and it does not contain tf2 now. Leaked tf2 does not match steam tf2 version, maybe it even is not complete and there is no legally public tf2 code.
Some other games with open-sourced code are already ported according to information on discord server (but i didn't check the code)
