I would like to note that the other plus to this is for mobile users in the browser. Since compact view has one entry per line, the headlines are cut off due to having less screen space. |

I was currently moving from Feedly to NextCloud News and had the same issue - changing the content.css fixed it for me: These are the changes I made to content.css (original file on the left):
Here's the modified file: As I was unhappy with the mobile view I did a Fork of OCNews for my iPhone to get the same result there too. https://github.com/kitzler-walli/news-iOS-App |

Explain the Problem
I've switched to News on my new NC server from Feedly. One things I immediately noticed, and missed from Feedly, was a semi-compact view not just a single line. The default view of News is to show full articles (as determined by the feed); which takes way too long to scroll through headlines. Thankfully News has the compact view which provides a one line view which makes scanning way easier.
What would be nice, is an in between view. One that shows a scaled down featured image and 2-4 line summary of the article. This way I can scan not only from headline or blurb but by the featured image as well. Feedly calls this view "Cozy". Here is a snapshot of what it looks like.
