Describe the solution you'd like
Migrating from TT-RSS and sometimes having a lot of subscriptions, a "Fresh Articles" option provides a way to see recent updates and provides a nice landing point for the page. imo

Describe alternatives you've considered
Instead on only having "Unread articles" as the only source of most recent, unread articles.

I'm not sure what a "fresh article" is. And I don't really plan on implementing it for this reason. But you can always make a pull request and I'll review it.

i started looking at it. i guess "fresh" is suggestive, but articles from the past 24hrs i suppose. If nothing else I wanted to at least open the topic for discussion.

For TT-RSS 'Fresh articles' defaults to 24h, but is configurable.
Similarly in OCReader (the News Android app) there is a virtual folder with the same name which also contains every unread of the last 24 hours.
