Your driver is not compatible with last kernel, could you update please?
I've upgraded in my machine for el8:
dkms-xpad.zip

To be honest I was not even sure it would work anymore. Latest upstream on el7 does not even compile.

Are you referring to updating only to el8?

I've already compiled and tested in Rocky Linux 8.5. I submitted the spec file (dkms-xpad.zip) pointing to source from kernel 4.18, that code works. I could not run other drivers, so I believe that would be useful to another gamers.

If you want I can install a Centos 7 on a VM and try to compile a newer version.

It was successfully built for epel7 and epel8 but I didn't test on CentOS 7.
