Issue Description

Hello developer, my Xbox Elite Series 2 handle plug-in cable can be used normally, but Bluetooth can't be searched when the switch handle is paired. I'm sure there's no problem with my Bluetooth module. I hope you can help me solve it. Thank you

Most likely scenario is that you have updated the controller firmware to the new version that uses Bluetooth LE. See this issue for firmware downgrade instructions (the thread relates to the regular Xbox One controller, but the same applies for the Elite). The incompatible firmware for the original Xbox One controllers starts from version 5.x.x.x, however I'm not sure whether the versioning for the Elite is similar or not.

Second most likely scenario is that you haven't installed the release correctly and are missing the bluetooth exefs patches required for the Elite controller pairing to succeed. Make sure the directory /atmosphere/exefs_patches/bluetooth_patches exists on your sd card and contains a number of .ips patch files. There should be 21 in total for the latest Mission Control release.

If neither of these helps, please try to give a more detailed description of the exact steps you have taken to pair the controller and how the console/controller responds.

Thank you very much for your reply. I just returned the firmware version to 4.8, and it can be used normally. Thank you

@EzioZz nothing has changed in either Nintendo firmware or Mission Control regarding controller pairing between the versions reported by @trulymust and yours. Since this was resolved by OP by downgrading the firmware, I assume my bluetooth patches on this firmware are working correctly and that the problem is more likely to be on your end.

Please ensure the sysmodule is installed correctly, running, and you're following the usage and pairing instructions correctly. If you're still having problems you can reach out to me directly on discord @ ndeadly#5317. The issue tracker is not really meant for troubleshooting.
