Comment: If an owner chooses to engage his forest in this method, is there a maximum period of enrollment ? Because, if he agrees to defer harvests for 10 or more years, isn't there a problem for natural regeneration ? If the stand is too thick, the quantity of lignt reaching the floor might not be enough for young seedlings. Can he still do some harvests if the withdrawn volume is less than what he could cut ? How does it work in that scenario ?
