On Android, when we call the Gal.open() command the user is presented with a list of gallery application to open with.

If the user selects the Samsung Gallery app then they are shown a 'blank tile/missing file'.

Tested on
Samsung S22 Android 14.

I have researched this issue.
First, there is no way to always transition to the home of the Photos app on Android. This is because it depends on that Photos app. For example, Google Photos works fine.

On top of that, there is a way to open individual photos instead of home, but we need to get the path, and to get the path we need read permission as well as write permission.
